Can you change the name? You guys did not make the name first. I can see it was an easy name to come up with but like blocking and not talking it out with them is better?
Hi, I'm sorry I haven't been able to talk about this situation earlier. It was quite late and I wasn't feeling the best when I received the message. I am ready to handle the situation now though.
Upon doing some research, there is no possible way I can change the group name without making an entirely new group and moving he species to that group.
The group has been quite inactive, as the latest post related to the group was submitted in September 2018. Plus, currently I don't have the time to take on such a task.
As for the name I would be quite willing to change it when I can, but I wasn't responsible for this part of the group during development. The species was sold to me when the original founder (the founder listed on the group homepage) wanted to focus their attention to another species of theirs.
I have no knowledge wither the original founder knew of your species while coming up with a name. I would bring this up with them, but they are quite inactive on all the social medias I follow them on.
I hope we may be able to find a resolution to this problem.

Stolen name please change your species name. ive had this species long time before you and even to copy paradise-island where mine orgin from...As I've stated before, I'm sorry that the names are exact, but I did not decide this factor of the group.
